On The Floor Fitness at
Dance Authority in Cool Springs
Pi What?… PiYo! It’s a 60 minute class that combines core-firming benefits of Pilates with the strength and flexibility of Yoga.
I was introduced to this class in November and I am HOOKED! I’m not going to lie, it requires stamina and focus. Several of us in class have seen major improvements in our strength, flexibility, and balance. I have personally noticed that my clothes fit better, my posture is better and I am stronger in my core, shoulders, lower back and thighs.
The class starts with a warm up and the routines following the warm up are fast paced, but Rachel Edmonson always offers modifications. Be prepared for a great workout with a great group of women (men are welcome).
Rachel teaches PiYo on Mondays and Thursdays at 9:30 am. She also teaches Dance Fitness on Wednesdays and Fridays at 9:30 am… FUN for everyone!
What to bring and how to dress: Dress comfortable and be prepared to sweat! You will need a Yoga Mat, hand towel and a bottle of water.
