Get your own ready to plant vegetables from ‘Project Grow’

The Nashville Food Project has launched a plant subscription service during the spring and summer months. Called Project Grow it allows subscribers to purchase a share of plants ready to be transplanted into their own home gardens at specific dates throughout the season.
They will grow locally adapted, seasonally appropriate vegetable plants ready to be transplanted into your spring and summer garden. Subscribers can pick up their box of ready-to-plant vegetables, herbs and flowers at NFP’s greenhouse on three dates throughout the spring and early summer. “These plants will be grown from organic and heirloom seed, with no chemical fertilizers or pesticides, and will come with recommendations for plant spacings” say NFP.
In 2018, they are offering “a limited number of plant shares at $125 each”. The vegetables, herbs and flowers at each pick-up will be ready to plant at that time, based on what is seasonally appropriate. To find out more or buy your subscription go to:
