My Description: Studio Cycle with Marcie! (the title deserves an explanation mark).
Not just a cycle class, more like a cycle disco class in a group setting. Enjoy your 45-50 minute energetic ride while being motivated to achieve maximum calories burned.
I arrived at HG Fitness in the lovely and very fast growing community of Spring Hill, TN. and was greeted by Marcie English, the instructor. I was ready to ride! I walked in, set up my bike, and we started to roll.=The lights went out, the jam worthy music came on, the packed class was ready for a 50 minute ride!
Marcie is full of energy, she has passion for what she does. She is a motivator… during the 50 minute class she would coach you thru the ride and she made every sweaty minute fun. From the waist down, it was cycle.. from the waist up, it was a choreographed dance party. I thought to myself, they should call this class “shake it on a Schwinn” or “boogie on your bike “, or how about “CLUB MARCIE”.. which is what her class calls it and I can see why.
Major calories burned, lots of fun and the energy is contagious BUT get there early, the bikes are first come – first serve. My suggestion is to clone Marcie so everyone has an opportunity to try her class.
I spoke to several class “regulars”, Beth and Casey really enjoy Marcie’s class because it’s fun, time flies by, the class is unique and they love the motivation from Marcie.
What to bring: water, the gym provides towels.
Marcie is certified by AFAA and has her group fitness certification thru IFA she is also certified to teach R.I.P.P.E.D and Body Pump.
You must be a member to take a class, the gym offers memberships as low as $19.99 a month.
